We operate out of Bari Bara Banda, right at Sardar Karma Singh’s location. It’s the same spot where a lot of the local farming talk happens. Manga And Kang Farmers Producer Company Limited is our name, and it’s really just a way for us to organize what we are doing in the fields. Farming in this part of Banda has its challenges, like the water or getting the right supplies at the right time. We got tired of doing it all separately, so we put this together. We spend a lot of time at the 01 Banda address, talking to the guys and figuring out the plan for the next month. It’s not a fancy setup. You’ll mostly find us in our work clothes, maybe drinking tea and looking over some notes. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to make sure the farmers around here get a fair shake. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when it’s harvest time. We keep the records at Spnkartar Singh and try to stay on top of the rules. People know us as locals, and we like it that way. If someone needs help or wants to see how we work, they just show up at the gate. It’s a simple life but we are making progress as a group and learning as we go.
