You can find us right behind the police station in Kamasin, which is in the Banda district. We are at Vidhya Sagar’s place. Kamasin Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited was started by a group of us from the local area. Farming here in Banda can be quite difficult because of the heat and the water situation is not always good. We thought if we worked together as a group, we might have a better chance of making things work out. We are not a big company with lots of money or expensive equipment. We are just farmers who know the struggle of the 210125 region. We spend most of our time out in the fields, and the office is just a place where we meet to talk about the upcoming harvest. We do not use any fancy language or have big goals other than surviving and maybe doing a bit better each year. It is a messy business, farming. There is dirt everywhere and the sun is always beating down on us. But we like it because it is our life. We talk about what seeds to use and how to get the crops to the market. It is all very direct and simple. We are just people from Kamasin trying to look out for each other and keep our farming traditions going while trying to find new ways to sell our produce.
