Krushivardan Agro Shetkari Producer Company Limited is based out of Borgaon Arj in the Aurangabad area. We are set up at Ganpat Laxman Mhaske’s place. It is a local group for the farmers around here. Aurangabad can get pretty dry, so we spend a lot of time talking about water and how to keep the crops alive. Most of us grew up in this village and have known each other since we were kids. That makes working together a bit easier, even when we disagree on things. We handle the collection of produce and try to find where it needs to go without too much trouble. It is a basic setup, nothing too complicated. We just wanted a way to organize ourselves better than we were doing before. The 431001 area is where we all live and breathe. You see the same faces every day at the market and in the fields. Some days are harder than others, particularly when the machinery breaks down or the market prices drop suddenly. We just keep at it because that is what we know. There isn't much else to say about us, we just work the land and try to make sure we can keep doing it next year. It’s just us, the local farmers, trying to make a living for our families. We aren't looking for any spotlight, just enough to keep the tractors running and the kids fed.
