Mahajivan Agro Producer Company Limited

Mahajivan Agro Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Ghonsi (Bk). We use Nandabai Bhagvat Vagare’s house for our official address, which is where we keep our files and meet up when the sun goes down. Ghansawangi is our local taluka, and we’ve all been farming in this area for as long as we can remember. We decided to start this company because we saw other villages doing it and thought it would help us get better prices for our grain and produce. It is not always easy to get everyone on the same page, but we are trying our best. We don't have much in the way of fancy equipment in the office, but we have plenty of tools in the sheds. Most of the people involved are neighbors who have known each other since they were kids. We handle the agro side of things, making sure we have enough fertilizer and that the harvest is ready for transport. It’s a very local operation. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't, just a group of people from Ghonsi looking to make a living from the land. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the crops and the business side at once, but we are sticking with it and seeing how it goes.
