Down in Chikalthan, at House Number 33, that is where you will find Dharau Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are part of the Kannad tehsil. It is a simple spot, just a regular house that we use for the company business. We chose Chikalthan because it is where we are from and where we work. There is no point in being far away from the land. Most days are pretty much the same for us. We wake up early, see what the weather is doing, and then head over to the office to see what the government wants from us now in terms of forms and filings. It is a lot of paper for a bunch of farmers, but that is how it goes these days. We are not here to make big speeches or promises. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields actually pays off at the end of the year. The office at house 33 is usually where you will find someone drinking tea and looking over some lists. It is a practical way to run things. Kannad is a nice enough area, though it has its challenges like anywhere else. We just try to keep things moving forward. If a neighbor stops by to talk about their crops, we sit down and listen. That is basically how we run Dharau Agro. It is not a high-pressure environment, just people from the village working on a shared goal together.
