Our small team operates out of Suresh Nana Pawar’s home, house number 34 in Dhangarwadi. This is located in the Kannad area of Aurangabad. We set this company up to handle our farming business more officially. We aren't experts in corporate stuff, we just know how to grow things. Dhangarwadi is a small place, so word gets around fast. We spend our mornings checking on the crops and the afternoons dealing with the technical side of things. We called it Kantai Agritech because we wanted to use some better methods for our fields. It’s mostly about being practical and helping each other out. We share what we know about the soil and the pests. Sometimes the rain is late, and we have to figure things out together at the house. There are no fancy offices or receptionists here. You just walk up to the door and talk to whoever is around. We do our own bookkeeping and hauling. It's a busy life but we've been doing it forever. Most of us are neighbors who have known each other for decades. We started this because we saw that together we have more of a say in how things are sold.
