Sarjan Engineering Co.

Sarjan Engineering Co. operates out of plot C-1/435 in the G. I. D. C. area. If you come by the shop, you will mostly see a lot of metal scraps and various tools lying around on the workbenches. We are an engineering outfit, so we are usually covered in a bit of grease or metal shavings by the time the day ends. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we have some strong lamps over the machines where the precision work happens. It is a functional space meant for cutting, grinding, and fixing things rather than hosting guests. We have a small desk tucked into the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone, but we are rarely sitting down for long. Most of the time is spent standing over a lathe or checking a part against a drawing someone sent over. The noise from the neighboring units in the G.I.D.C. blends in with ours, creating a constant drone that you eventually just stop noticing. We get a lot of local guys dropping by with broken parts that need a quick fix or small orders for custom bits. We just take the work as it comes and try to get it out of the shop on schedule. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, and we have been doing it this way for years without much changing in our daily routine.
