Ajay Engineering Works

Ajay Engineering Works is located at Plot K1/442/3 in Phase-I of the GIDC estate. We’ve been operating out of this workshop for a long time. It’s a straightforward setup. We have some heavy machinery and a couple of welding stations. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal dust, no matter how much we sweep it. We do a lot of repair work and custom parts for the other factories nearby. It’s the kind of place where you’ll always hear the sound of a grinder or a hammer hitting something. We don't have a receptionist; if you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor with grease on our hands. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, so we have to move the motors to the dry side. It’s just part of life here. We get our supplies from the local market and try to keep things moving. Most of our guys have been with us for years. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to do the engineering jobs that come our way and do them right. The commute to the estate can be a bit of a pain with the traffic, but once we're here, we just get to work. It’s a plain, hardworking environment. No frills, just engineering. We usually finish up around six and head home to our families.
