Akshar Engineering

We’ve been operating out of Plot No-1106 in Phase-Iv for some time now. Engineering is a messy business, and our place shows it. There’s always grease on someone’s hands or a pile of shavings near a lathe. It’s not the kind of place you’d wear a suit to. We’ve got a good group of guys who know their way around the equipment. Phase-IV is quite large, so we’re tucked away a bit. Most of the time, we’re just focusing on whatever project is on the bench that day. Sometimes it's a lot of the same thing, other times it's something new that makes us think for a bit. The lighting in the back isn't the best, so we use portable lamps. It gets hot in the summer, but we’ve got a few big fans that keep the air moving. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we're checking an email or a drawing. Mostly, it’s about the manual work and making sure parts fit like they should. We go through a lot of coffee and tea here. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain off the machines. We’ve seen other shops come and go in this part of the estate, but we’ve managed to stay put at 1106. It’s a decent enough spot for the kind of work we do. We don't have much of a lobby, so customers usually just walk into the shop.
