Robins Fabrication & Eng.

We have been over here at the GIDC area for a good while now. It is a busy industrial spot, and our workshop is right at K1- 7707/1 & 2. My name is Robins and I run the fabrication and engineering side of things. It is not a fancy place by any means, just a lot of metal, welding machines, and noise most of the day. We do a lot of custom work for local guys and other shops nearby that need specific parts made. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with steel scrap and dust, but that is just how it goes when you are cutting and joining metal all day. I started this shop because I like working with my hands and fixing things that are broken. Most of our days involve looking at rough drawings or just figuring out how to make a certain part fit a machine. We do not have a big office or a receptionist to greet people. If you come by the shop, you will probably find me or one of the guys covered in grease or soot. We handle general engineering tasks, some heavy welding, and whatever else comes through the door. It is hard work, especially when the weather is hot and the machines are running constantly. We try to get things done on time, though sometimes getting the right materials takes a bit longer than we would like. It is just a small, honest team here.
