Zyka Bhathure Shop

You can find Zyka Bhathure Shop over at Shop number 9 in Basant Nagar, Amritsar. We’ve been here in this little corner for a while, frying up bhature every morning. Amritsar is a city that takes its food seriously, especially breakfast, so we have to stay on our toes. The shop isn’t big at all, just a small space where the stove is always going and the dough is being rolled out. We start quite early because people around here like their meal before they head off to work or start their day. It’s a simple setup with a few places to stand or sit, nothing like those big fancy restaurants. The air usually smells like hot oil and spices, which is just part of the job. We don’t have a massive menu, just the few things we’ve always made. Our staff is just a couple of guys who know how to handle the high heat and the morning rush. Sometimes the line gets a bit long on the weekends, and the sidewalk outside gets crowded with people waiting. We don’t do any big advertising; word of mouth in the neighborhood is usually enough for us. It’s a messy, busy, and honest kind of business. We’ve got flour on our aprons and a lot of work to do, but we like being part of the Basant Nagar community. It’s just our little shop doing what it does every day since we opened the doors.
