Amigos Grill Italian & Mexican Cuisine

Amigos Grill Italian & Mexican Cuisine is located over in B Block of Ranjit Avenue. If you spend time in Amritsar, you know the District Shopping Complex is where everyone ends up eventually. We decided to do something a bit different by having both Italian and Mexican stuff on the menu. It’s a simple Scf 8 shopfront. It isn't a massive hall, just a comfortable enough space to grab some pasta or a taco. The kitchen gets pretty warm when the ovens are going full blast. We spend a lot of time chopping tomatoes and making sauces from scratch because that is just the way it has to be done. The street outside is usually full of parked cars and people walking between the different shops. We see a lot of students and families who want something other than the usual local food for a change. The chairs might creak a little and the decorations are just things we liked, nothing professionally designed. It feels like a neighborhood kitchen more than a big restaurant chain. We try to keep things moving quickly, especially during the lunch rush when people are on their breaks from the nearby offices. It’s a busy little spot in a busy part of Amritsar, and we are just happy to be cooking here every day. Sometimes we run out of ingredients early if it's been a crazy day, but we just start over again the next morning.
