You’ll find Inderpuri Foods And Guest House over on Cooper Road, right in the Ameena Bazar area. We’re at number 196. It’s a very busy part of Amritsar, especially being so close to the Bhandari Pull. There’s always a lot of noise and people moving about at all hours. We have the guest house rooms upstairs and the food part downstairs on the ground floor. It’s a modest place, really. The rooms are simple with just the basics you need for a night or two. We don’t have fancy carpets or designer curtains or things like that. It’s just a place to sleep. The kitchen stays busy because of the market nearby. 143001 is where we’re at. We start early because the bazar wakes up early every morning. You can hear the rickshaws and the shouting from the street even when you’re inside. We’ve been here for a long time, so the building has some character, or at least that’s what people say when they see the old walls and the layout. We just try to keep the place clean and the food ready for people. It’s hard work running a guest house and a food spot at the same time. There’s always something that needs fixing or someone checking in late at night. But we just keep going. It's our life here on Cooper Road near Bhandari Pull.
