Burger Hut

If you find yourself in Ranjit Avenue over in Amritsar, specifically in D Block, you might see our place, Burger Hut. We are at number 449. Kahlon Park is just around the corner, which is nice for a bit of green. We started this place because we needed something to do and we liked burgers. It’s not a big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just us. We get all kinds of people coming in, families from the neighborhood or kids on their way home. The kitchen can get pretty hot in the summer, especially with the grills going all day. Sometimes we forget to change the sign outside or the door squeaks a bit when it's humid. We do our own cleaning and shopping for the ingredients. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. Being near the park means we get some of that breeze sometimes. Amritsar is a busy city and Ranjit Avenue is always moving. We just try to keep up with the pace. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is ready for the day. Sometimes the delivery guys are waiting out front and it gets a bit crowded. That’s just part of running a shop on this street. We try to keep things straightforward and honest here at 449 near the park.
