You can find us over by Chatiwind Gate in Amritsar. We are really close to Raj Cinema and not far at all from the Baba Deep Singh Gurdwara. Being near the gurdwara means there are always people around, which keeps us pretty busy. The atmosphere in this part of Amritsar is always lively, with the smell of food and the sound of traffic all day long. We started this bhog bhandar because we wanted to be part of the local community here. It’s a small place, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when it’s busy, but that’s just how it is in these old parts of the city. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone telling us how to talk to customers. We just treat people like neighbors. Most of the people who stop by are either locals or pilgrims who have come to the gurdwara. We keep our prices fair because we know most people are just looking for something honest and simple. There is always a lot of cleaning to do, especially with all the dust from the road, but we stay on top of it as much as we can. It’s not a perfect setup, but it works for us and it works for the people who come here. We just focus on the daily chores and making sure there is enough for everyone who walks in.
