New Baniaya Di Hatti

New Baniaya Di Hatti is located right in the heart of Amritsar, very close to the Golden Temple and Jaliawala Bagh. It’s an area that’s always full of people, both locals and tourists visiting the holy site. Because of where we are, things can get pretty loud and crowded outside our doors. We’ve been around for a long time, watching the city change while we keep selling our goods. Our shop carries a variety of items that people might need while they are out and about or for their homes nearby. It’s a small space, so we have to be smart about how we stack things on the shelves. You might see some dust here and there because of all the traffic outside, but we try our best to keep things tidy. We get all sorts of people walking in, some just looking for a bottle of water and others wanting to buy supplies for their kitchen. Working in such a historical part of Amritsar feels special, even if the work itself is just regular shopkeeping. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the person walking in finds what they are looking for at a fair price. The evenings are especially busy when the lights come on around the temple. We usually stay open until quite late to accommodate the crowds. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know.
