Manga Chicken Bar

You can find us over at the Guru ram dass market, right by the Amritsar Bus Stand. It is a busy place, as you can imagine. There are buses coming and going all the time. We are located right opposite the ghee mandi area. Manga Chicken Bar is a pretty simple setup. We don't have soft music or fancy tablecloths. It’s mostly about the chicken we cook. We spend our afternoons prepping everything so we are ready when the travelers and locals start showing up. The market is always loud, and our shop is part of that. We have a few tables, but a lot of people just grab something and go. It’s a bit greasy and loud, but that’s how a chicken bar near a bus stand usually is. We don't have a philosophy or anything like that. we just cook the food and serve it. The staff is just a few guys who have been working here for years. We know the bus drivers and the shopkeepers around the market. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer with the stoves going, but we just keep at it. Amritsar is famous for food, and we are just one small spot near the station doing our thing. We don't need a lot of words to describe it. It's just chicken and a place to sit. That is pretty much the whole story of this place. We are just here.
