Bannia Di Hatti

Bannia Di Hatti is our little place on Sultanwind Road in Amritsar. We are located near Ajit Vidyala, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. The pin code here is 143001. It is a regular street-side shop where we spend most of our hours. There is always a mix of students from the school and families from the surrounding houses coming in. We keep a variety of items that people use in their kitchens every day. I guess you could say it is a typical neighborhood spot. Sultanwind Road is usually crowded with bikes and people walking, so there is never a dull moment. We do not really do anything special, just keep the doors open and sell what we have. Some of the wooden shelves are getting a bit old, but they hold the stock just fine. Dealing with the same neighbors for years makes the work feel a bit easier. We know who wants what before they even ask sometimes. It is just a simple life running a hatti in this part of town. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here near the school. We take the deliveries as they come and try to keep things organized enough so people can find what they want. It is a small business and we just take it one day at a time without any big plans.
