The Hallimax Restaurant

The Hallimax Restaurant is located in Gegal Akhari, which is out near Ajmer. The pin code is 305023. We are a bit away from the main city center, which gives us a different kind of vibe. It’s more of a roadside place where people stop when they are traveling through Rajasthan. We’ve been here for a good while and have seen many travelers pass through our doors. The building is a simple structure, and we have enough space for people to park their cars or trucks. We serve a variety of dishes, mostly the kind of food that keeps you going on a long journey. Our kitchen isn't fancy, but we have big pots and plenty of fire going all day. The staff is made up of local people from the Gegal Akhari area. We don’t have any fancy waiters in suits or anything like that. It’s just us in our regular clothes, making sure everyone gets their food and a place to rest. Sometimes the wind blows the sand in from the road, so we are always dusting the tables. We like it out here because it’s a bit more relaxed than the middle of Ajmer. We don’t have a website or any big ads. We just open up in the morning and stay busy until the last traveler leaves at night. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be part of this community for so long.
