Fragrance Of India

Up on the second floor of Unique Tower, you will find our spot, Fragrance Of India. We are right on Pushkar Road in Ajmer, not too far from Mittal Hospital. It’s a bit of a climb if you aren't using the lift, but once you’re up here, you can see the street below. Ajmer is always moving, especially this area with all the traffic heading towards Pushkar or the hospital nearby. We started this place because we wanted something local in this part of town. The building is usually full of people going to different offices. Our doors stay open for most of the day. We spend a lot of time prepping in the kitchen before the first person even walks in. Sometimes the power goes out or the water pressure is low, but we manage. It’s a standard setup with tables and chairs that we’ve had for some time. We don't spend much on decorations because we think the food is what matters more. You might hear the horns honking from the road below, but it’s mostly quiet inside. The staff here are mostly local guys who live around Ajmer. They walk or take the bus to get to work at Unique Tower. It is just a regular workplace for us. We keep the menus simple so people don't get confused. If you are near Mittal Hospital, we are just a short walk away from all the noise of the main road.
