Sukoon Restaurant

Running Sukoon Restaurant on Pushkar Road keeps us pretty busy most days. We are right across from Demo School in Ajmer. It’s a good spot because the students and teachers often stop by for a quick meal. We started this place because we wanted something local for people living around here. It’s not a five-star place or anything like that. Just some tables, chairs, and the food we cook every day in the back. The kitchen is always going from early morning. Some days the heat in Ajmer is a lot to handle, but we keep the fans running and just get on with it. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything fancy. We just open the doors and wait for people to come in. Most of our regulars are folks who live nearby or parents waiting for their kids at the school. It gets noisy when school lets out, but we like the energy and the familiar faces. We try to keep the place clean, though it’s hard with all the dust from the road sometimes. We don’t do fancy plating or garnish everything. You get your food and it tastes like it should. Our staff is small, just a few of us who know each other well and work together. We’ve been on Pushkar Road for a bit and we know the neighbors. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to just eat and move on, that’s us. No loud music or bright flashing lights. Just a simple restaurant in Ajmer trying to make a living.
