Rasna Restaurant

Our spot is right by the Agra Gate in Ajmer, near the Kotwali. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside the door. We opened up here because it seemed like a decent place where people are always passing through. The restaurant itself is pretty straightforward. We have the usual tables and chairs, nothing too modern or flashy. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in, grab a chair, and eat without thinking too much about it. Most of the time, we’re busy in the back making sure everything is ready for the lunch rush. It gets quite hot in the summers, but we do what we can with the space we have. The regulars know us by name, and we know what they usually want to eat. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a few of us working hard to keep the place going. We’ve seen the street change a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We don’t spend money on big signs or anything like that. People find us because we’ve been here at the gate for so long. It’s a simple life running a restaurant in this part of Ajmer. We just hope the food is what people are looking for when they’re tired from walking around the markets. We keep the water jugs filled and the floors swept as best we can every single day.
