Alka Holidays is based at F12 Ujjala Avenue, which sits right opposite the Hyundai Showroom near Vishalla Circle. It’s a very recognizable spot because of the circle and the showroom across the way. We spend our days arranging trips and looking into travel details for people. The office at Ujjala Avenue is where all the planning happens. It’s a modest space, nothing too flashy, just enough room for our desks and a place for people to sit when they come to talk to us. Vishalla Circle is usually packed with traffic, so we hear a lot of horns throughout the day. We are used to the noise now. Our work involves a lot of back-and-forth on the phone to make sure hotels and transport are all lined up. Sometimes we have to stay late to sort out a problem, but that’s just the nature of travel. We don't use any fancy marketing language or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a local business near the Hyundai showroom trying to do a good job. We like the area because it’s easy for folks to stop by while they are out running errands. It’s a busy life, but we enjoy the variety of people we meet. We just keep our heads down and focus on the bookings at F12. The fans in the office keep us cool while we work.
