We've been at Satyam Status for a while now. Some people know us from the neighborhood. My cousin started this because he liked driving and seeing new places. It's just a small office in Anand Nagar. We spend a lot of time on the phone booking tickets and trying to get things lined up. Sometimes the internet is slow and it's frustrating. It's a lot of paperwork usually. Most of our day is just checking schedules and talking to drivers. We have some regular customers from Satelite who drop by for tea and to ask about trains. The office is usually a bit cluttered with brochures. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. It’s just us here most days. If you come by Ramdeve Nagar Road, you'll see our sign. It's nothing special but we keep busy. We try to keep track of all the changes in flight timings which is hard. Sometimes we make mistakes with names but we fix them quickly. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend our breaks. It’s a simple living. We've seen the area change a lot over the years. We just keep doing what we do. It’s not a big corporate thing, just a few of us trying to make sure people get where they need to go. We've had people come back and tell us about their trips. That’s always nice to hear. Usually, the phone doesn't stop ringing during the summer holidays. We keep a diary of all the bookings by hand too, just in case the computer acts up. It's a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We're just normal people working here.
