If you’re trying to find Akash Travels & Transport, we’re tucked away in G-11 of the Ceramic Center. It’s right near the Vishwakarma Temple, which is a good landmark if the Gota railway crossing traffic is backed up like it usually is. Most mornings involve a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. The office is small, just enough room for a couple of desks and some chairs for people waiting on their papers. There’s always a stack of logbooks on the corner desk that never seems to get smaller. We’ve been in this part of Gota for a bit, and we know the rhythms of the trains passing by pretty well. It’s a transport hub, so things are always moving. We don't do much in the way of decoration; the walls are mostly covered with maps and calendars. People come in and out all day, asking about routes or drop-offs. We try to keep things organized, though it can get a bit chaotic when three drivers show up at once. It’s not a quiet job, that’s for sure. Between the temple bells and the traffic outside, there’s always noise. We just focus on getting the vehicles where they need to go. It’s straightforward work. We don't have any fancy software to show off, just a lot of experience and a few reliable people keeping things running. The office cat usually sleeps on the printer, and we just let him be. It's a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes and the days go by fast.
