We are located at 1373 on Salapose Road, right across from the Sunehary Masjid. We’re near the Three Gate area, which is always buzzing with people and rickshaws. You can hear the call to prayer from the mosque every day, which sort of marks the time for us. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a door and a window with some old travel posters stuck to it. Inside, it’s mostly desks and piles of folders. We help people with all sorts of travel plans, whether they are going for a pilgrimage or just visiting family across the country. It gets very busy in the afternoons, with people coming in after work to drop off their documents. We do a lot of talking, explaining the different flights and the visa rules which seem to change every other week. It’s just a few of us working here, so we all have to know how to do everything. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can finish a booking. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the basics that get the job done. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. They know where we are and they trust us to handle their tickets. We just try to keep things simple and get the paperwork finished so they can travel. It keeps us busy.
