Sam Foods International

We are over at 229 in the Saman Complex, right near Mansi Cross Road in Satellite. It is a very active area and there is always something going on outside our windows. We have been here for several years now, working on the food side of things. Mostly, we deal with sourcing and shipping different kinds of food products to other places. Our office is on one of the upper floors and it is usually filled with the smell of spices and the sound of printers. It is not a huge space, so we have to be careful about where we stack the files. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure that the grains and pulses are what they should be. Sometimes there are delays at the docks or issues with the trucks, and we just have to deal with those things as they come up. We do not have a dedicated marketing person or anything like that. Usually, people hear about us from someone else in the trade. We take our breaks at the small food stalls nearby and that is where we do most of our networking, honestly. It is a straightforward business and we try to keep things simple. We are just a group of people trying to make sure the food gets to where it needs to go on time. It is a lot of hard work but we are used to it by now.
