Kitchen Xpress Ovdrseas Ltd., Kalol

We are over here in Krishnanagar, right behind Priya Cinema. It's a busy spot in Ahmedabad, mostly because of the school across from us, Shivam Vidhyalaya. You can usually hear the kids shouting during their break time. Our place is tucked inside Jay Raghunath Society at house number 22. Ravindra Rewatkar is around most of the time handling the daily bits and pieces. We do kitchen work and ship things out, mostly overseas from the Kalol area. It gets a bit dusty sometimes with all the movement on the road, but we stay busy. People find us easily because of the cinema landmark nearby. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls, just a practical space where we get the boxes ready and talk to the drivers. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it really hard for the trucks to turn in, so we have to go out and help coordinate that. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The neighbors in the society are used to our routine by now. We don’t really have a big flashing sign or anything, just the regular work going on inside. Usually, someone is here by nine in the morning to open up. We drink a lot of tea while we check the manifests and the orders. It’s just how things go here. We handle the export side of Kitchen Xpress and try to keep everything moving. It's just us doing our jobs.
