Hari Om Snacks

We’ve been setting up here near the Patang Hotel lane for quite some time now. Our little snack spot is right in the Ellis Bridge area of Ahmedabad, just across from Bhikhabhai Garden. It’s a busy corner, especially with all the traffic coming off the Nehru Bridge. We usually start our day pretty early to get the oil hot and the snacks prepped before the morning crowd shows up. People in this part of Ahmedabad are always on the move, so they mostly stop by for a quick bite while they’re walking to work or waiting for a bus. We don't have any fancy seating or air conditioning, just a simple counter where we serve what we’ve made for the day. My nephew helps me out during the evening rush when things get a bit hectic with students and workers. The heat from the stoves makes it pretty warm inside, but we’re used to it by now. We focus on making the kind of stuff we’d eat at home ourselves. Sometimes the line gets long and people have to wait a bit, but nobody seems to mind too much. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep people fed. We don't do anything complicated, just the basic snacks that everyone around here likes. The location is good because people can find us easily right at the bridge corner.
