Chatkara

We are based in the I M Complex, right near Nehru Park and across from Vastrapur Lake. It’s a really popular area, especially in the evenings when families come to walk around the lake. Because of the location, we see a lot of people just out for a stroll. The shop is small, and it can get quite cramped when everyone decides to show up at once. We’ve been in Vastrapur for a long time now. We don't have a big corporate team running things. It’s just us and a couple of guys helping out behind the counter. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just prepare what we have and sell it to the people who stop by. Sometimes we run out of space for people to stand, so they end up eating outside near the park. It’s a lively spot with a lot of energy. We try to keep the place as clean as we can, but with so many people, the floor always needs a sweep. We don't do anything fancy for marketing. Our sign is right there on the complex, and the smell of the food usually does the work for us. It’s a basic life, but we like being part of the Vastrapur neighborhood. We’re here most days from morning until late night, just keeping things moving.
