We've been doing food for a long time here at Shivalay Apt on Sola Road. It's just me, Devraj, and some of the guys working together. We handle big pots of food and delivery for weddings or small house parties. People find us near the Shiv Temple in Naranpura easily. It gets busy during the marriage season, so the kitchen stays hot. We mostly do traditional stuff that folks around here like. I've stayed in this area for years, so I know most of the neighbors. Sometimes the traffic on Sola Road makes it tricky for the vans to get out, but we manage. We aren't a big fancy company with a glossy office. Just a kitchen where we cook. We use the spices we find at the local markets. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic when there are three events on the same day. That is just how it goes with catering. My family helps out too when things get really crowded. We like staying local. If you walk past the temple, you can usually smell whatever we are cooking that day. It's nothing special, just honest food for the people around Naranpura. We keep our pots clean and our recipes simple. Most people come to us because their cousins used us before. We don't do much advertising. Just word of mouth and hard work. We are at L-138/1646 and the door is usually open if you want to chat about a party you are planning for next month or just ask about prices.
