You can find us on Fatehabad Road in the Taj Ganj area of Agra. We’re in a part of town that sees a lot of visitors, but we also have plenty of locals who stop by. We opened Valantine Restaurant because we liked the idea of having a spot where people could just sit and eat without feeling rushed. The place has a bit of character, maybe a few scuffs on the floor here and there, but it shows we’ve been busy. We handle the cooking ourselves mostly, sticking to recipes that we’ve used for a long time. It’s not about being the most popular place on the road; it’s about making sure the person sitting at the table is satisfied. The kitchen can get pretty hot during the summer months, but we just keep at it. Our menu has a bit of everything, the kind of stuff we like to eat ourselves. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website. We just rely on the fact that we’re right here on the main road and easy to see. Sometimes the power goes out or we run out of a certain vegetable, but that’s just life running a kitchen in Agra. We’re just a regular team trying to do a good job every day for anyone who walks through the door. It is hard work but we enjoy seeing people enjoy the food we make here.
