You can find us at the Friends Paying Guest House, which is located at P-6 in the Taj Ganj area of Agra. We’re tucked away near the Shilp Gram Road, quite close to the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal. It’s a busy part of town, always filled with travelers from everywhere and locals going about their business. We started the Bob Marley Restaurant as a simple place for guests to eat without having to go too far. It isn't a big, fancy establishment with a marketing team. It’s just us. The name is something we liked. It fits the relaxed feeling we wanted to have here. Inside, the walls have some posters and the furniture is pretty basic wood. We spend our days mostly in the kitchen or chatting with the people who stop by for a meal. Since we’re in Taj Nagri, we get a lot of foot traffic from people walking to see the Taj Mahal. The street outside is often noisy with rickshaws and tourists, but inside it’s a bit more chilled out. We do our own cleaning and we buy our ingredients from the local markets nearby every morning. It’s a small operation. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when a big group arrives all at once, but we manage. We’re just a family-run spot in a very famous neighborhood, trying to keep things simple and honest for everyone who visits.
