Anant Restaurant

Anant Restaurant is located in the Avas Vikas Complex over in Kamla Nagar, Agra. We are tucked away right behind the Shri Ram Mandir Cinema Hall, so we get a lot of people coming in after they’ve watched a movie. It’s a small place, nothing like those big chain restaurants you see in the malls. We’ve kept it simple with basic furniture and no real decor to speak of. The focus is really just on the kitchen. We cook the kind of food we grew up eating in this part of the city. It’s just a few of us working here, so if the restaurant fills up suddenly after a show ends, things can get a bit slow. We just ask people to wait a bit while we get everything ready. We go to the local market for our supplies every other day. It’s better than buying in bulk and having things sit around. The summer heat in Agra can be pretty intense, so we have a few extra fans going to keep the air moving inside. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy signs. Most of our customers are locals who live in the Avas Vikas area or regular moviegoers who know where we are. It’s a quiet spot most of the day until the evening rush starts. We just try to make sure the food tastes the same every time you visit. It's not fancy, but it works for anyone who just wants a good meal.
