The Silk Route Restaurant

The Silk Route Restaurant is located at 18-A/7-B on Fatehabad Road in Agra. We’re right across from Howard Plaza, so it’s a very easy place to find if you’re visiting the city. Fatehabad Road is always busy with tourists and locals, and we’ve been part of that scene for a while now. We aren't a fancy, high-end place with white tablecloths and expensive prices. We’re just a regular restaurant where the food is cooked with care and the atmosphere is relaxed. Our staff have mostly been with us for years, so they really know how to take care of people. We serve a variety of dishes, mostly the kind of things we like to eat ourselves. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic, but that’s how you know the food is being made fresh. We get a lot of people coming in after a long day of sightseeing, and we try to make sure they have a comfortable place to sit and some cold water right away. The building itself is a bit older, but we think that gives it some character. We don’t spend much time on fancy marketing or social media; we just focus on the work in the kitchen and making sure the tables are clean. It’s an honest way to run a business. We like seeing the same faces come back year after year when they visit Agra. It’s just us here, doing our thing.
