You will find The Cave Restaurant about 21 kilometers outside of Agra on the road to Fatehpur Sikri. We are part of Joshi Resorts in Kirawali. The whole idea was to make the inside look like a cave, so there are rocky walls and dim lighting everywhere. It is a bit of a surprise when you walk in from the bright sunlight of the highway. The road outside is very busy with trucks and tourist buses heading towards the ruins. It gets very dusty out there. Inside, it is much cooler, which is a relief in the Uttar Pradesh heat. We have a lot of tables and it can get quite loud when a big bus group stops by for lunch. The staff is used to people who are in a hurry to get to their next destination. We serve basic North Indian food mostly. The cave theme is a bit old-fashioned now, but kids seem to like it. There is plenty of parking space because we have a lot of land around the resort. It is not a fancy city restaurant. It is a place for travelers to stop, use the restroom, and get a meal before they continue their journey. We have been at this 21 Km stone for a while, and we just keep the lights on for whoever pulls in from the road. It is just a roadside stop with a bit of a theme.
