Shivam restuaent

Our little place is called Shivam restuaent and we are over at MMIG 85 in Agra. It's quite close to Upadhayay hospital, so we see a lot of people coming in who are visiting family there. We try to keep the food simple and hot. It is not a very big space, just a few tables and some plastic chairs. We do not have fancy menus or waiters in uniforms. It is mostly just us cooking and serving whatever is ready. The kitchen is small but we keep it as clean as we can. Agra gets very hot in the summer, so we have a couple of fans that we keep running all day. Sometimes the power goes out and it gets a bit stuffy. We serve tea and snacks mostly, but we have meals at lunchtime too. The salt is sometimes a bit much or a bit little, depending on who is in the kitchen that day. We don't have any big signs, just the name on the front. People find us because we are right there near the hospital gates. It’s a busy street with lots of rickshaws going by. We have been here for a few years now and most of the regulars are people who work nearby. We don't do anything special, just basic food for people who are hungry. It's a hard life running a shop but it pays the bills.
