Prem Restaurant

Prem Restaurant is located at 264, Stn Rd, right in Agra Cantt. If you are looking for us, we are directly opposite the Police Stn Agra Cantt. Being so close to the station means we get all kinds of people coming in. Some are just off the train and looking for a meal, while others are locals who live nearby in the 282001 area. The road outside is always busy with rickshaws and taxis zooming past. It’s a lively spot to be in Agra. Inside the restaurant, it is pretty simple. We have wooden tables and chairs that have been there since my father’s time. We don't have any air conditioning, just big ceiling fans that move the air around. When the trains are running late, we sometimes stay open a bit longer to help out the travelers. The police officers from across the street often come over for a quick cup of tea or a snack during their shift. It’s nice to have them around. We don't do anything fancy with the menu, just the usual things that people like to eat when they are hungry and tired. Running a place on Stn Rd keeps you on your feet. There is never a dull moment. We just focus on keeping the floor clean and the food ready for whoever walks in next. It’s just us doing our job every day and seeing what the next train brings.
