New Moon Light Restaurant

Our place is on Sanjay Palace Road, right in the middle of the busy Sanjay Place area in Agra. We are just opposite Hotel Aahaar, so people usually find us pretty easily if they know that landmark. Being in 282002 means it’s always crowded with people working in the nearby offices. The restaurant is quite simple inside. We didn’t go for any expensive designs, just plain walls and enough light to see what you’re eating. Every morning starts with the same routine of getting the kitchen ready and making sure the supplies arrived. Sometimes the delivery guys are late because of the traffic on the main road, and that makes things a bit hectic. We see a lot of tourists too, since it’s Agra, but mostly it’s the locals who come in. We don't have a big team, just a few of us handling the orders and making sure the tables are cleared. It gets a bit noisy during lunch, with everyone talking at once and the sound of plates clinking. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a spot to get a meal without any fuss. If the fan is wobbling or a chair is a bit creaky, we just fix it when we get a spare minute. It’s just how we run things here on Sanjay Palace Road. We stay open until the evening rush finally dies down and then we spend the last hour cleaning up for the next day.
