Metro Bar and restaurant

We are located inside the Metro Hotel over in Sanjay Place. If you know Agra at all, you know this area is always moving and changing. We are in Block 36, which is pretty close to Soorsadan and right off MG Road. It is a handy spot if you are already in the center of town for business or visiting. The bar and restaurant have been part of the hotel for a long time. It is nothing too flashy, just a place to sit down and have a drink or a meal. We get a mix of people every day. Some are staying at the hotel and others are just folks who work in the many offices nearby. Sanjay Place can get pretty crowded during the day, so it is a bit of a relief to step inside out of the sun. We try to keep things running smoothly, though on busy Friday nights it can get a bit hectic in the kitchen. Our staff has been here for a while, so we know the regulars pretty well. The menu is just standard stuff that people usually like. We do not try to be something we are not. It is about having a decent place to eat without a lot of fuss. The decor is a bit older, but it feels comfortable enough for most. Sometimes a table might be a bit wobbly, but we fix things as we go along. We are just glad to be a part of the local scene here in Agra. It is a solid place to spend an hour or two.
