Maikhana (ITC Mughal)

Maikhana is located inside the ITC Mughal Hotel on Fatehabad Road. We are right in the Taj Ganj area of Agra. Most people come to this part of town for one reason, but once they are done with the sightseeing, they usually look for a place to sit down. That is where we come in. It is a bar, plain and simple. We have comfortable chairs and a lot of different bottles behind the counter. The atmosphere is meant to be relaxed. We do not have loud DJs or a dance floor. It is the kind of place where you can actually hear the person sitting next to you. The hotel itself is big, but we tucked Maikhana away so it feels a bit more private. Our staff knows how to mix a drink without making a big show of it. We see a lot of tourists who are tired from walking around the Taj all day. We also get locals who just want a quiet evening. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just open up, clean the glasses, and serve people. It is a steady job and we like the crowd that comes through. If you are staying at the Mughal or just passing through Taj Ganj, we are here. It is just a nice, quiet spot to end your day in Agra without any unnecessary noise.
