Jagdamba Bakers

Jagdamba Bakers is located at 16/228, right in the Main Bazar area of Ghatiya Azam Khan. We are in Sanjay Place in Agra, which is a very busy part of town. If you are near the Sabji Mandi, you are basically right there. Being a bakery means we start work while most people are still sleeping. The ovens get hot early so the bread and biscuits are ready when the market opens up. We don't have a polished storefront with bright neon signs. It is just a regular shop where you can get something sweet or a loaf of bread for your tea. The smell of baking flour and sugar usually fills the street in the morning. We have been here for a while and we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. Sometimes the shop gets crowded with people coming from the vegetable market next door. They stop in for a quick snack before heading home with their groceries. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just bake things and sell them. The floor might have a bit of flour on it sometimes, and the shelves are always being restocked. It is a busy, slightly messy, but friendly place. We like being part of the daily routine for people in Agra. It is hard work but seeing someone enjoy a fresh bun makes the long hours worth it.
