You can find us on Vibhav Nagar Road. Harish Carpet Company has been around this area for quite some time now. We aren't tucked away in some mall; we are right on the road where everyone passes by. The shop floor is usually covered in rugs and carpets of all sizes. Sometimes it’s hard to walk through without stepping on something, but that’s just how it is when you have a lot of stock. We spend a lot of time rolling and unrolling things for people to see. It’s physical work and your back definitely feels it by the end of the day. The air usually smells a bit like wool and dust, which is something you get used to pretty fast. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical space where we store what we have. Most of our days are spent talking to folks who live nearby or those who heard about us from a friend. We don't do much talking about being the best or anything like that. We just show what we have and let the work speak for itself. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. We know the regulars and we know the road well. It’s a simple life, selling carpets and keeping the shop open for whoever needs something for their floor. We’ve been here so long the road feels like our own front yard.
