Praveen Carpenter Works

I run Praveen Carpenter Works from my home, which is H. No -3-80 in Dasarapalli. It’s in the Narsampet area of Warangal. The workshop is basically just a shed out back where I keep all my tools and the wood. It’s a quiet village area, so you can hear the sawing and hammering from down the street. I’ve lived in Dasarapalli all my life, and most people here know me. I don’t have a big company or a showroom in the city. If someone needs a new cupboard or their roof beams fixed, they just come to the house. I have a lot of different saws and planes, some of them are quite old now but they still cut straight. The yard is usually full of wood scraps and sawdust. Warangal weather can be tough, especially the heat, so I try to do the heavy work in the morning hours. My neighbors sometimes stop by to chat while I’m working. It’s a slow pace of life, but there is always something to build or fix. I don't use any fancy machines, just the basic stuff that gets the job done right. I’ve been doing this for a long time at No. 3-80. It’s just me and the wood, trying to make things that last for the people around Narsampet.
