Bhalakishan Carpenter Works

Bhalakishan Carpenter Works is my small shop located at H. No -3-227/1 in Gundrathimadugu. I have been working as a carpenter in this part of Kuravi for quite a few years now. Warangal is where I grew up, and I learned the trade from watching others when I was younger. My workspace isn't anything special to look at. It's mostly filled with stacks of timber, some old saws, and a lot of wood shavings on the floor. I spend my days measuring, cutting, and joining wood to make things for people's houses. Sometimes it's a new front door, and other times it's just fixing a broken leg on a table. I don't have a big team or fancy machines. I do most of the work myself with my own hands. I like the way wood feels and smells when it's freshly cut. People from around the village just walk in when they need something. We sit and talk about what they want, and I give them a price. It’s a simple way of doing business. I don’t use any computers for my designs. I just use a pencil and a piece of wood to mark things out. It takes time to do things right, so I don't like to rush. I just want to make stuff that stays strong for a long time. It is a good way to earn a living here.
