Krishnaveni Carpenter Shop

Krishnaveni Carpenter Shop is a small place at H. No -1-64 in Narayanapuram. We are right here in the Kuravi area of Warangal, and you can usually smell the fresh cut wood before you even see the door. It is a simple shop with wood shavings all over the floor, and we do not bother sweeping them up until the end of the day. There is a heavy workbench that has seen many years of use, and saws of all different sizes hanging on the walls. We make things like door frames, stools, and simple cabinets for the people living nearby. It is not like a factory where everything is made by a machine. We use our hands and take our time to make sure the joints fit together like they should. Sometimes the wood is stubborn or the grain is hard to work with, but that is just how it goes with timber. We do not have a catalog or a fancy display. If someone wants something made, they just bring a drawing or tell us the size they need. We have a few old chairs where people sit and talk while we measure things out. The light comes in through the open front, and it is a good place to spend the day working. We just keep our heads down and let the chisels do the talking as we finish our jobs.
