About Brahmaiah Carpenter Works – Furniture in Warangal
My name is Brahmaiah and I have been doing wood work for quite some time now at house 1-17 in Thimmarainipahad. It is a small village under Chennaraopet in the Warangal area. My workshop is basically right where I live so the smell of sawdust is pretty much everywhere. I started learning how to fix chairs and doors when I was younger and just never stopped. People from around here bring me their broken tables or ask me to make new frames for their houses. It is hard work on the back and hands but I like seeing something useful come out of a plain piece of wood. My tools are old but they still work fine for what I need. Sometimes the wood is late arriving or the weather is too damp for the glue to dry right, but that is just part of it. I don't have a big team, it is mostly just me and sometimes a helper if there is a big job to finish. The neighbors often hear the hammering starting in the morning. Warangal is a big place but here in Thimmarainipahad, things are more relaxed. I take my time to make sure the joints are strong because nobody wants a wobbly table. It’s a plain living and I am happy enough with how things go each day in the shop. Usually, the kids from the street come by to see what I am making.
