Aalishan Zaika

We operate out of Chandpur Mahruli Road in Varanasi. It is right across from Vivek hospital, so there are always people moving around outside. Varanasi is a busy city and this part of Chandpur is no different. We spend our days in the kitchen mostly. The smell of spices is always hanging in the air here. We have a few tables for people who want to sit down and eat right away. It is a simple setup. We do not have a lot of staff, just a few local guys who know how to cook. The 221006 area is where we have spent most of our working lives. Some days the traffic on Mahruli Road is really heavy and the horns never stop honking. We have grown used to the noise though. It is just the background of our day. We try to keep the place clean and the food hot. That is about it. We do not have a big website or a marketing person. My nephew helped me write down the address for the records. We just focus on the customers who walk in from the street. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but we like the routine. If you are near the hospital, you can see our place quite easily. We have been in this spot for a long time and the neighbors know us well.
