Vaibhav Provision Stores

Vaibhav Provision Stores is tucked into the Mig Shopping Center in Karelibaug, Vadodara. We are right opposite the Buddha Complex, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. It’s a decent location because people coming to the shopping center often stop by to see what we have. We keep all the basic provisions that a house needs. You'll find things like grains, soaps, and those little packets of spices that everyone uses. The shop has been here for a good bit of time. It’s not one of those huge supermarkets where everything is shiny. It’s more of a place where you can just walk in and ask for what you need. We spend most of our day counting out change and packing things into bags. Sometimes the fans make a lot of noise, but you get used to it after a while. The traffic outside can be a bit much, especially in the afternoons. We have to keep an eye on the stock because things like sugar and flour go fast. We talk to the other shop owners in the Mig Shopping Center whenever there's a quiet moment. It’s a small community of us workers here. People from the nearby colonies are our main regulars. We just try to keep the shelves full and the floor swept. It's a lot of standing around and waiting, then suddenly ten people walk in at once. That's just the way it is for us at Vaibhav.
