Annapoorna Corner

Our little shop is near the Anandbaug society at Sussen Circle in Vadodara. We are right on the Sussen Tarsali Ring Road. It is a spot where a lot of people pass through on their way to work or home. We call it Annapoorna Corner because we are literally on the corner. It is a small place, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have enough room for a few people to sit and eat. Most of our work involves standing by the stove or the counter. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The ring road is much busier now than it used to be. We start our day by setting up the kitchen and getting the water boiling. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it. We do not have a big menu. We just stick to what people in Vadodara like to eat daily. We keep our prices as low as we can because we know our customers are working people. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy when it rains outside, but we mop it up as fast as we can. We are just a local business trying to make a living. There is no corporate office, just us and our customers at Sussen Circle. We hope to be here for many more years.
